Inside: remove the obstruction
Gutter clearing removes material that has collected in the channel, such as leaves and moss. Clear Home Solutions uses a vacuum system operated from ground level where the building and access are suitable. Reach is up to second-storey height on appropriate properties, but obstacles can restrict the working position.
Outside: improve the appearance
Washing gutter faces, fascias and soffits removes exterior dirt and organic build-up. That work can make the roofline look cleaner without proving that the inside channel is clear. Ask for both tasks if both are needed, rather than using the broad word cleaning without defining it.
A leak is not a diagnosis
Overflow may be associated with debris, but water can also escape because of damaged joints or a physical defect. Clearing cannot repair every cause of a leak. Explain where and when the problem happens, and seek appropriate repair advice if the issue persists.
Keep the enquiry at ground level
Take photographs from a safe position showing whole elevations, extensions and conservatories. Tell us about locked gates and inaccessible sides. There is no need to climb a ladder to inspect the channel for a quote.
Know what completion will mean
Ask which gutter runs are included, whether they can all be reached and whether before-and-after views are available. If a section cannot be checked or cleared, you should know which part it is and what needs to happen next.
