Can I send photographs to get started?
Yes. Include one picture showing the whole side of the house and closer views of the affected trim. Tell us which parts you want washed and whether there are extensions, locked gates or fragile fittings below them. We can discuss the proposed work and tell you if a closer assessment is needed.
Can I book the front of the house without the rear?
Describe the elevations you want included when you ask for a quote. A front-only refresh and a whole-house uPVC wash are different amounts of work. We will identify the accessible sections in the proposal, so you can decide what you want to have done.
Should a leaking gutter be mentioned before the visit?
Yes. Say where water escapes and whether the channel appears blocked. An exterior wash is about the outside appearance and does not establish that rainwater can flow freely inside. We can discuss a gutter clear separately; a broken joint or damaged fitting may need repair.
What information helps with a coloured front door?
Send a photograph and any care information you have for the particular finish. Mention repairs, peeling coatings or products that caused a problem previously. Those details help us plan suitable cleaning without treating a decorative door in the same way as every white roofline component.
What if the gutter faces are above a conservatory?
Show the full arrangement from the garden, including the space on either side of the conservatory. The obstruction below the trim can matter as much as the building height. We will discuss the practical working position and any sections that need to be excluded.
Do I need to prepare anything around the house?
Move small loose items from the agreed working areas where you can do so safely. Point out delicate plants, external electrics and fittings that are loose or damaged. We will explain which doors and windows should stay closed and how to keep an entrance available if needed.
Can the same quote include paving work?
Tell us about the paving and the uPVC together, with separate photographs of each. We can discuss the cleaning sequence and any multi-service saving for the proposed booking. The quotation should still distinguish the plastic components from the driveway or patio work.
