Can a coated frame be treated like ordinary white uPVC?
Not by assumption. Tell us what coating or decorative finish is present and share known care instructions. The suitable method depends on that finish and its condition. An unfamiliar product should not be used simply because the underlying material is plastic.
Is the whole front of the house included?
Only the components identified in the agreed scope. Glass, doors, fascia boards, gutter faces and render are not interchangeable tasks. State what you want refreshed and check exclusions so a specific trim booking is not mistaken for cleaning every material on the elevation.
Will cleaning remove scratches?
No removal of physical scratches is promised. Grime can be lifted from an otherwise worn surface, but cleaning is not refinishing or replacement. Show marks in close-up so removable contamination is distinguished from damage before you decide on the work.
Can only the door and surround be cleaned?
A limited scope can be discussed. Provide photographs of the door, surround and finish, and flag damaged seals or fittings. Access and staining still influence the quote; a small component is not automatically the same job as a lightly soiled standard frame.
Can gutter debris be removed during the same visit?
Ask for internal clearing as an additional task. The approach and access requirements differ from washing visible plastics. A combined quotation should name both operations and explain the sections that can be reached rather than treating one as automatic within the other.
How should coloured trim be maintained afterwards?
Follow the advice for its specific finish and known manufacturer guidance. Avoid harsh rubbing and unfamiliar cleaning chemicals. Frequency should reflect actual build-up and condition, while permanent fading or damaged coatings may call for a different service rather than repeated washing.
